One day I woke up in morning darkness.
A screaming siren sounded in my bitter dream.
All alone I talk to a lump of iron
Only the quiet sound of an engine covers my heart beat, recognizing me.
I know, I know, I'm not allowed to gallavant with friends or feel the joy of life.
Even still, this cityscape is unchanged.
It's still shines upon our nostalgic childhood.
Close your eyes and see it
Cover your ears and hear it
The really important thing is always beyond.
And you should take the trinket you found today put it in your gleaming white pocket.
Sunshine will fill you when you awake, tomorrow.
ある朝、目覚めた先は暗闇で
苦い夢の中では けたたましく鳴るサイレンの音。
一人きり、鉄の塊に向かって会話をする
微かに聞こえるエンジン音だけが、鼓動と重なって僕を認めてくれる
友人と交わすくだらない会話や、ささやかな日々の楽しみも、
自分には出来すぎた事だと
そんな事はわかっているんだ
それでも、この街並は、あの日のまま
僕たちが幼い頃から知ってるものたちで、きらきらと輝いている
目を閉じて 見てみるといい、
耳を塞いで 聞いてみるといい、
本当に肝心なことは、いつでもそこにあるのだから。
そして君が今日 見つけたその ちっぽけなもの を
真っ白な服のポケットに集めるといい
明日の朝、目覚めた君の眼の前は
光で満ちあふれているはずだから。
